Posting and commenting in The Beauty Network,

The ADMINs want to encourage members to post questions and reviews of beauty related products and/or services those are the topics that this group is all about.  We are not a support group or a debating society so please don’t post those kinds of topics as they may/will be removed by an ADMIN without debate.

In the recent past the ADMINs made an effort to ease up on the policing of the group to encourage more posting and a freer environment for those comments. However in the last few days we’ve had an exodus of valued members because of the vile nature of some of these comments. Therefore in the future we will be monitoring these comments much more closely and if a comment is not constructive we may delete the comment and or ask that it be rephrased or if an ADMIN feels that it rises to such a level then the offending party may very easily be removed from the group.

Cursing is not allowed and if we have to go to the urban dictionary to figure out what you said it will not earn you any brownie points with us even if it isn’t a negative comment. Use common everyday English and act like ladies in the comments.

In the future there will be a daily selfie thread so if you want to post a selfie that is the place to do it not in the main timeline of the group. These meaningless selfies do nothing for the group they are all about the poster seeking admiration not helping others or learning how to improve an outfit etc. So any picture needs to have commentary about why it is significant or a question such as does this work. No more self promotion shots will be allowed in the main timeline.

Ladies we all want to learn how to give a better presentation and constructive criticism is welcome but try to be gentle in your comments, you have no idea what another’s had to go through to get to this point. Our lives are hard enough without our being attacked by our sisters.
